Young people to watch out for your mates

Transport for London (TfL) urges young people to be careful on the streets with the beginning of his summer safety campaign.
Called 'Look out for your mates', to the campaign on the dynamics of the latest road safety pay to build, gave the reveal it 18% less 13-17 year olds killed or seriously injured (KSI) on London streets in 2009.

"But the grim fact is that 17 teenager died on London streets last year and 284 more were severely injured."

The Lancet medical journal published in September last year research that that road accidents are worldwide found the single largest cause of death for young people aged 10-24, accounting for 10% of all deaths in the age group.
However the impact of accidents on the road in the United Kingdom, 30% of deaths in men and 17% of female deaths in this age group causes far more pronounced.
