Young moped riders 'need more protection'

Too many young moped driver will be injured or killed on the street and the Government should do more, to protect a Motorsport group has warned.

In a report published in December last year motorists (IAM) six 16-year-olds were on average between 2000 and 2006 found on the Institute of advanced killed Britain's roads of each Jahr.Eine more 269 year seriously injured.

The IAM indicates that more 16-year-old boys killed or seriously injured on mopeds as in cars or by hiking or cycling.

Director of policy and research at the IAM, Neil Greig, said the problem was a "forgotten problem".
