Nationwide and Allied Insurance (collectively “Nationwide”) have received more than 17,000 claims as of July 3. Procedures are in place to respond quickly to customer needs. Nationwide policyholders with damage should call the Nationwide claims hotline at 1-800-421-3535 or contact their agent. “At Nationwide, we’re in the business of protecting and restoring what matters most to our members,” said Chad Jester, President of the Nationwide Insurance Foundation. “One of the many ways we do this is by supporting the American Red Cross in helping people rebuild their lives.” The American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund will help meet immediate needs of victims, providing food, shelter, emotional support, clean up kits and other assistance for families and communities as they begin to rebuild their lives.
