Polo outwits iQ to the car of the year 2010

The fifth generation Volkswagen Polo was car of the year 2010, edging out Toyota iQ city car declared.

The latest iteration of veteran German mini total 347 points awarded by the 59-member jury, narrowly beat the 337 point tally of the tiny iQ, which first went on sale in the United Kingdom in January of this year.

Vauxhall Astra was a relatively distant third with 221 points.
