Hi there... Michelle here

I am so sorry to hear about this accident. I am glad to hear you are in treatment for the PTSD, give yourself a lot longer to heal. These kind of accidents, as you know, cause deep harm that goes beyond the physical injuries and these psychological injuries need time and good therapy to heal from. You are on the right track.

However, I would advise you to hire a lawyer, and NOT try to settle this accident claim yourself. Your PTSD is an injury which will be compensated for as well as physical injuries.

It is extremely difficult to work with an insurance company when you are already feeling so much stress from the events of this accident. To get a good settlement you must be able to negotiate strongly and in some cases fight for what you deserve.

This added stress on top of your work to heal from the trauma of the accident is unnecessary to put yourself through.

Please. Hire a lawyer and hand over all the stress and negotiations. The lawyer will arrange a strong settlement for you, and will NOT allow the insurance to either brush you off, nor will the lawyer allow a small paltry settlement.

Your settlement must take into account your change in work status, any long term change in your ability to work, as well as the emotional and physical pain you have already suffered. The lawyer stands in front of you as your protector, dealing with all the details and the entire negotiation with the insurance. You deserve to have this protection.

So, easiest way to do this is to fill out form on our page, its free and easy, and the lawyer will contact you. When the lawyer contacts you this consultation is free and will give you a sense if this is the right lawyer for you. You do nto have to pay for your lawyer up front. A lawyer takes their fees out of whatever settlement they negotiate for you, so you are not going to need to come up with funds.

Take a moment, click here and fill out form: find a lawyer here.

You might also inquire of your counselors if there are any PTSD groups available for you to join, you might at some point find that talking to others who have suffered from PTSD can help you feel understood.

I hope this helps. Feel free to write again, you can use the comments section and submit a comment and I will respond, if you have other questions.

Best Regards, M.
